Sales Terms

All sales are in Canadian dollars. We accept Visa or MasterCard as payment options.
Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.

If you receive a damaged book, the wrong book, or are missing a book, please contact our sales representative at sales@flankerpress.com or by phone at 709-739-4477  ext. 22 (toll free at 1-866-739-4420).

Shipping Procedure

We ship orders from our warehouse in Paradise, Newfoundland, Canada, within 48 hours of receiving them. Orders can only be shipped on business days. At time of exceptionally high volume, we may take longer than 48 hours to process orders. 

Orders are shipped via Canada Post and can take 5 - 10 business days for delivery, depending on location.

We charge a flat fee of $8.40 (including HST) for any order shipped within Canada.

Free shipping will apply to orders totalling $50.00 or more before taxes, being shipped within Canada.

Please note that all orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel. If you require express or overnight shipping for your order, please place your order by phone at 709-739-4477  ext. 22 (toll free at 1-866-739-4420).

Online ordering is currently limited to shipments destined for Canada. For international orders, please call us at 1-866-739-4420 ext. 22 or send an email to sales@flankerpress.com for shipping information.

CURBSIDE PICK-UP

Effective Friday, May 1, Flanker Press will be offering curbside pick-up for orders at our office location at Unit # 1 - 1243 Kenmount Road, Paradise.

This service will be available Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. To ensure we are maintaining social distancing, we ask that you call the office - 709 739 4477 - ext # 22, upon arrival in the parking lot, and wait in your vehicle until the staff arrive at the door with your package.

Flanker Press is a bright spark in the Newfoundland and Labrador publishing scene. As the province’s most active publisher of trade books, the company now averages twenty new titles per year, with a heavy emphasis on regional non-fiction and historical fiction.

The mission of Flanker Press is to provide a quality publishing service to the local and regional writing community and to actively promote its authors and their books in Canada and abroad.

Now located in Paradise, Flanker Press has grown from a part-time venture in 1994 to a business with eight full-time employees. In the fall of 2004, Flanker Press launched a new imprint, Pennywell Books. This imprint includes literary fiction, short stories, young adult fiction, and children’s books.
