2020

Please join us for the Official Launch of, M is for Murals, written by Trudy Stuckless, calligraphy by Boyd Chubbs and design by Craig Goudie, on Wednesday, August 19, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch # 5, 7 Circular Road, Botwood.

2020 marks the Botwood Mural Arts Society's 10th anniversary and the launch of this very special publication. Through cheerful rhyme and colourful imagery, M is for Murals, tells the story of Botwood's murals, the artists who painted them, and the seaport town in NL that supported their creations. Though written with children in mind, M is for Murals, an Alphabet Storybook published by Flanker Press, will also appeal to adults interested in knowing the details of the murals completed to date.

Boyd Chubbs has pre-signed 224 books and Trudy Stuckless & Craig Goudie will be on site to add their signatures. All proceeds from sales of the book will go to the Botwood Mural Arts Society to support the creation of new murals.

Please note there are two time slots for the book launch - 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm.

Please remember to follow proper hand hygiene and physical distancing practices. Masks are recommended when getting your book signed.

See you there!!!
