Flanker Press Authors in the Canada 150 Literary Tour NL

Several Flanker Press authors will be participating in the Canada 150 Literary Tour NL this summer.

They include Victoria Barbour, author of the Heart’s Ease Series: Against Her RulesHard as Ice, Play Me21st Century Rake, and Wilful Desire; Gary Collins, the author of Desperation; Melanie Martin, the author of A Splendid Boy; Stewart Payne, the author of Cut from the Cloth of Fogo; Bill Rowe, the author of No Punches Pulled; and Nellie Strowbridge, the author of Ghost of the Southern Cross.

On Wednesday, July 12, Stewart Payne, the author of Cut from the Cloth of Fogo, will participate in the reading from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm at the Stephenville Kindale Library (45 Carolina Avenue, Stephenville).

On Thursday, July 20, Stewart Payne, the author of Cut from the Cloth of Fogo, and Nellie P. Strowbridge, the author of Ghost of the Southern Cross, will participate in the reading from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Deer Lake Public Library (4 Poplar Road, Deer Lake).

On Wednesday, July 26, Stewart Payne, the author of Cut from the Cloth of Fogo; Dawn Baker, the author of The Puffin Patrol; and Gary Collins, the author of Desperation; will participate in the reading from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm at the Lewisporte Memorial Public Library (152 Main Street, Lewisporte).

On Thursday, July 27, Stewart Payne, the author of Cut from the Cloth of Fogo, and Dawn Baker, the author of The Puffin Patrol, will participate in the reading from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm at the Grand Falls-Windsor Public Library (1 Cromer Avenue, Grand Falls-Windsor).

On Tuesday, August 1, Gary Collins, the author of Desperation, will participate in the reading from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm at the Fogo Public Library (Central Academy, Fogo Island).

On Wednesday, August 2, Dawn Baker, the author of The Puffin Patrol, and Gary Collins, the author of Desperation, will participate in the reading from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm at the Gander Public Library (6 Bell Place, Gander).

On Wednesday, August 9, Carolyn Morgan, the author of Art Love Forgery, will participate in the reading from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm at the Carbonear Public Library (256 Water Street, Carbonear).

On Thursday, August 10, Melanie Martin, the author of A Splendid Boy, will participate in the reading from 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm at the Clarenville Public Library (98 Manitoba Drive, Clarenville).

On Wednesday, August 16, Dawn Baker, the author of The Puffin Patrol; Victoria Barbour, the author of the Heart’s Ease series; Gary Collins, the author of Desperation; Melanie Martin, the author of A Splendid Boy; and Bill Rowe, the author of No Punches Pulled; will be participating in the St. John’s Grand Finale from 12:30 pm to 7:45 pm at the A. C. Hunter Public Library (Arts and Culture Centre, 95 Allandale Road, St. John’s). In addition, Victoria Barbour will be a panellist on the Love, Sex, & H. E. A.: Writing Romance for Today’s Readers panel from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm, and Bill Rowe will be a panellist on the Methods of Mayhem: The Writing Process in All Its Forms panel from 3:00 to 4:45 pm.
