Darrell Duke
Darrell Duke was born in Placentia, Newfoundland, in 1970, and dedicates his life to music and to the preservation of his province’s cultural heritage. He is an accomplished musician, playwright, poet, journalist, singer, and songwriter. Darrell’s book of poetry, If You Look Closely, You'll See was published in 1999. His self-titled debut music CD was released in 2006. He is currently writing a novel based on events of the 1927 August Gale in Placentia Bay.
